The article discusses the concept of multicultural education for teachers. It mentions the need for teachers and pre-service teachers to be provided with the tools to engage in multicultural education as practice in order to produce culturally competent teachers. It highlights the learning experiences of teachers and future teachers in the adoptation of multicultural education. The authors emphasize the importance of examining the experiences of a teacher because it is vital to the development of multicultural education. They also offer information on the Cultural Foundations of Education course which aims to integrate multicultural education into the practice of teachers. |
