Abstrakt: The paper, taking Fantaworld Adventure in Wuhu city as an example, discusses the tourist impact of urban residents, perceptions and attitude on the mega theme parks. The result indicates that 1. their perceptions can be classified into six dimensions; namely, "social disorder and environmental deterioration", "local identity and opening thinking", "economic benefit and regional development", urban beautification and landscape creation, economic cost raise and image upgrade and reputation expanding". 2. overall, residents in Wuhu city have positive peceptions about the positive impact brought up from this item and they begin to concern about the negative impact on their lives and economy. 3. residents in Wuhu city with different demographic characteristics have different conceptions. There are differences of conceptions about spatial time. 4. residents in Wuhu city hold active attitude toward the further development of Fantaworld Adventure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
