Abstrakt: The article looks at new developments in the origins and evolution of Native Americans. It states that genetics and physical anthropology have played significant roles in the studies of the origin and evolution of Native American population. It notes that Native Americans have been connected by anthropologists with Asian ancestors by comparing their physical traits. It also provides an overview of several articles about the topic published within the issue.
