| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on issues related to lighting in secondary spaces of commercial buildings, such as stairwells, lobbies, and service rooms. It says that the increase of dim corridor lights to full output during occupancy and down to 50 percent or less of full output during vacancy periods show reduction in lighting energy use. It states that about 35 percent of energy use at buildings in California is attributable to lighting. Moreover, information on bi-level lighting systems is offered. |
