The article presents the study "Hyperbaric Oxygen for Acute Carbon Monoxide Poisoning" by L. K. Weaver and colleagues. It compares the effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen against normobaric oxygen treatments in reducing cognitive sequelae. It indicates that the three hyperbaric oxygen treatments within 24 hours of exposure can help reduce cognitive sequelae at 6 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year. |
