| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the failure of medical malpractice law in Wisconsin to provide sufficient compensation for negligently performed abortions. It is emphasized that the state's medical malpractice law does not cover future costs that a woman may incur in an effort to have a child in the future and that include costs of fertility treatments particularly in vitro fertilization (IVF) and adoption. The author recommends to update the state law to define future costs as economic damages. |
