Mapping the receptor site for α-scorpion toxins on a Na+ channel voltage sensor.

Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the mapping of α-scorpion toxins receptor site on a sodium channel voltage sensor. It notes that the findings reveal that α -scorpion toxins inhibit fast inactivation by interacting with a receptor site formed by domains I and IV and bind with the sodium channels. The binding of Leiurus quinquestriatus hebraeus toxin II (LqhII) to the voltage sensor in its resting state takes place as a result of the analysis with the Rosetta-Membrane algorithm.
