A four year old girl presented with varicella gangrenosa, and haematological investigations showed a disseminated intravascular coagulation. The child subsequently developed a unilateral deep venous thrombosis. She was treated with oral steroids and intravenous heparin and made a full recovery. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
