| Abstrakt: | Five patients with neonatal small left colon syndrome are described together with some early investigative studies on rectal biopsy material. Current reports on this condition are reviewed. The precise aetiology remains unknown, but vigilance and early referral are recommended in view of the several reports of colonic perforation.
