Pulpitis as clinical presentation of photoallergic contact dermatitis due to chlorpromazine.

Abstrakt: The article offers information on case studies related to dermatitis due to chlorpromazine (CPZ) manipulation. It states that a 57-year-old woman and her 59-year-old husband both had dry eczematous pulpitis and positive patch reactions on photopatch testing for CPZ hydrochloride and Largactil® drops from Sanofi Aventis SA which they manipulate for the husband's mother. A 65-year-old man also with pulpitis on both hands, was also found to have positive photopatch with the said drugs.
