The article offers information related to global phycological societies. It states that Czech Phycological Society was created by Professor Bohuslav Fott in February 1956 as a special section of the Czechoslovak Botanical Society. It says that Argentine Phycological Society was established in 1992 with Doctor Andrés Boltovskoy presiding since December 2003. It adds that the International Nanoplankton Association covers researchers commonly focused on living and fossils haptophytes. |
