The paper is devoted to the development of the theory of regular oscillating systems as applied to the problems of dynamic analysis and synthesis of cyclic machines. Modifications of a generalized dynamic model differing in connectedness of modules, types of subsystem deformations, and boundary conditions are considered. Special attention is paid to the investigation of a drive when the main shaft and the effector are schematized as torsional and bending subsystems with distributed parameters and are multiply connected by cyclic mechanisms with a nonlinear place function.
