The article offers information on the KUNC radio station in Colorado. Starting as a student radio station during the 1960s, KUNC has evolved into a Class A station by the mid-1970s and was the first radio station of Colorado to become a member of National Public Radio. An agreement was reached by the University of Northern Colorado with Colorado Public Radio to purchase the station in early 2001. The original facility of the station was at a site north of Greeley, Colorado. |
