| Abstrakt: | The article provides an overview of the U.S. foreign aid to Egypt before its revolution in January 2011. Egypt was considered to be the second-largest recipient of the U.S. foreign assistance since 1979. The country's economic aid from the U.S. has started to decline in 1998 due to a negotiation by Israeli officials to reduce economic aid and increase in military aid over a 10-year period.
