A biography of poet Charles Tennyson Turner is presented. He was born on July 4, 1808 in Lincoln, Massachusetts and studied at Trinity College. He then obtained a Bell scholarship where he was labeled as a rising poet by his college friends. He married Louisa Sellwood in 1837. His various works in poetry resemble those of the Greek epigram and were included among the noblest in English language. |
