Abstrakt: This article discusses the prevalence of transplant-associated hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in the U.S. in 2010. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) investigated the case of a liver transplant recipient who developed HBV infection. The CDC examined the risk factors associated with HBV infection showed by other recipients of organs.
