| Abstrakt: |
The article describes the case of a human rabies from exposure to a vampire bat in Louisiana. The migrant farm worker from Mexico developed acute neurologic symptoms after arriving from Mexico. He died despite supported care for his condition. He developed signs such as fever, respiratory distress and sinusitis. |
