| Abstrakt: | An interview with Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons, members of the duo Doobie Brothers, is presented. According to Johnston, he just picked up a guitar one day and that was how it started for him, although he admits that Freddie King and Jimmy Reed are the main influence behind his desire to learn guitar-playing in earnest. Simmons reveals that for him, the inspiration to learn to play the guitar came from his friends and the first song he learned to play was "The Crawdad Hole." |
