The article focuses on the results of a survey regarding an increased professional autonomy of dental therapists and hygienists in Great Britain. It says that dental team decline work supervision and increases independent practice. It mentions the recommendation of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency to allow dental team to choose independently and administer anaesthetics and issue medicines directly to patients. |
