Customer satisfaction is at the heart of marketing. Measurement of the customer satisfaction is one of the concerns of marketers. The present study is conducted in Jalandhar city of Punjab to identify the important factors that contribute the consumers? satisfaction for a retail shopping trip. The study uses factor analysis for the purpose and identifies store convenience, appealing store environment, product offering, value for money, price and choice availability as the important factors. The study showed that shoppers feel that the particular organised retail provides them value for their money in terms of product and offerings. It was revealed from the study that the retailer should be strongly committed towards its consumers. They should follow value market strategy and market commitment strategy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
