Abstrakt: | The article focuses on several principles for the arrangement of melodies by music teachers for educating instrumental students. It stresses that such principles are needed to be able to counteract some factors that affect music training. One principle cited is the act of prolonging chords with more focus on the tonic. Another principle that should be considered in melody arrangement is the acknowledgement that not all chords are equal. |
