Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the role of tonality as a phenomenological frame in the music education of multicultural groups. It presents several class activities that require the knowledge of the Venda folk song "Ihi." It is said that the performance of the musical actions such as active listening, performing and improvisation/composition can show the extent to which a student has absorbed and programmed the sense of tonality in their bodies. One activity discussed concerns unisons and octaves. |
