Abstrakt: The article offers information on a paper discussed at the annual meeting sponsored by the National Communication Association in 2010 on several topics including feminist theory, women in positions of power, and political economy of media in the U.S. It informs about Women at NBCU program launched by National Broadcasting Company (NBC) Universal in May 2008. It also mentions the aim of the program was to provide advertisers better market products to women by creating cable channels.
