Evaluates the effects of injection position, breed, and age of the animals on the performance reporting and recovery of passive injectable transponders (PIT) used for electronic identification of fattening lambs under intensive fattening conditions. Percentage of PIT at the abattoir in the harvested lambs; Location and distribution of transponders injected in different positions; Identification of young lambs through the use of injectable transponders. |
