The article discusses the work of Czech literary critic Igor Hájek, examining his comparative approach to literary studies. It comments on his essay "Camovsky, Smificky, Zuckerman & Co; A Tale of Mixing Identities." The author explores Hájek's analysis of semi-autobiographical works by authors Philip Roth and Josef Skvorecký. The article also comments on Hájek's role in British academia and his time teaching at the University of Glasgow. |
