The article offers the author's insights on liberal education in Roman Catholic priesthood. The author argues that liberal education is significant for Catholic clergy, adding that they need to be men who know the world in all its range from blatant evil to holiness. He suggests books that address a priest's need for liberal education including "The Education of a Wandering Man," by Louis L'Amour, "The Intellectual Life," by A. D. Sertillanges, and "Blanding Castle," by P. G. Wodehouse. |
