The article offers information on the announcement of Affymetrix Inc. on the commercialization of human transcriptome array. It says that the superiority of human transcriptome array in messenger RNA (mRNA) sequencing (RNA-Seq) in the studies of gene expression profiling has been demonstrated by researchers at Stanford University. It adds that the array will be sold by Affymetrix to research and pharmaceutical institutions through an early-access program. |
