The author emphasizes the potential for a problem with radio frequency interference (RFI) to arise in new automobile models based on his experience in Central Ohio. He states that he found a very objectionable heterodyne in the new transceiver that was installed in his wife's newly purchased automobile. He explains that the three central processing units (CPUs) in the automobile contribute to RFI. |
