What is the core knowledge base that every marketing student should be expected to master before receiving his or her degree? Currently, there are no universal guidelines available for marketing educators and/or practitioners to use when assessing a student's body of knowledge. The purpose of the present paper is to begin to develop a set of terms and concepts related to consumer behavior that undergraduate marketing students should know, comprehend, and be able to apply.
