Abstrakt: The article offers information on the McCully tight gas field in New Brunswick, which has been improved due to propane-based fracturing. It states that because propane is 100 percent compatible with the formation, when using gelled propane as the fracture fluid, multiple fracture treatments can be completed without the need for flowback and cleanup between fracture stages.
