The article presents a case study of a 47-year-old woman who was taken into the emergency department because of her ankle that was distorted while walking on a flat ground. It states that medical examination shows that her left ankle was swollen and the whole foot was dislocated medically, wherein immediate closed reduction was executed. Discussions on Maisonneuve fracture, distraction injuries, and dislocation of the ankle joint are also presented. |
