Abstrakt: The article presents the authors' comments on class actions which highlight three kinds of antitrust allegations, in the U.S. These allegations are--agreements not to compete, information exchanges, and "naked" wage-setting agreements. Some of the cases discussed are Weisfeld v. Sun Chemical Corp., and Todd v. Exxon. The authors state that classwide adjudication of many kinds of antitrust labor suits may be inappropriate, ignoring the sophistication of analysis provided by economic experts.
