Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study which compared sagittal plane kinematics during device-assisted and clinician-assisted sit-to-stand transfers in stroke patients undergoing rehabilitation. The study found that sit-to-stand movement patterns most closely simulated normal movements when the transfers are aided by clinician, without device assistance.
