The article discusses the application of gel casting ceramic emulsions in the production of cellular ceramics. It mentions that gel casting of emulsions is a novel method in producing cellular ceramics since it involves an aqueous ceramic suspension which contains water-soluble organic monomers and kerosene. Particular focus is also given to the impact of solids loading and kerosene content on the properties of emulsions. |
