The article discusses the relationship between feelings and ideas about nature and performance, commenting on both staged performance and everyday performance. It reflects on inter-subjective aspects on the process of constituting nature. The author also considers the relationship between practice and nature, the self, subjectivities, and identities. He explores allotment gardening and the staging of a multiple event of diverse art at Uplands allotments in Birmingham, England called Bloom 98, under the direction of intervention artist Harry Palmer. |
