Abstrakt: The article discusses the results of a prospective observational study that determined the effectiveness of the use of point-of-care ultrasound in assessing difficult laryngoscopy. The study showed higher sonographic measurements of anterior neck soft tissue in the difficult laryngoscopy compared to the easy laryngoscopy at the level of the hyoid bone. It concludes by pointing out the limitations of the conventional screening tests for determining difficult laryngoscopy.
