| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case study of an 11-year-old female, 21-year-old female, and 25-year-old male with cutaneous zygomycosis in Mexico. The risk factors for cutaneous zygomycosis common to the three patients reported have been described as a result of penetrating trauma, and or burns from motor vehicle accidents. In addition, the presence of fungi in soil and on soil-contaminated skin lesions was a consistent pattern in the three cases presented. |
