The article discusses a study which investigated the mechanisms of molecular interactions in polybase-polyacid complex formed by copolymers of N, N-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate with alkylmethacrylates and methacrylic acid with ethylacrylate. The authors used Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy in the study. Gaussian semiempirical approach in DFT approximation was employed in the evaluation of charges at the atoms and interaction energy. |
