The article presents a study regarding the rheo-optical and rheological properties of high molecular weight atactic and syndiotactic polyvinylalcohol (PVA) solutions. The study investigated the rheo-optical and rheological properties using different syndiotactic diad contents in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO). The study has found that the syndiotactic PVA showed rheological responses on heterogeneous systems while atactic PVA produced an isotropic phase over the polymer concentration range. |
