| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which examined the foaming process of a commercial polyethylene in the presence of a crosslinking agent. It mentioned that foams have been produced under nearly atmospheric conditions. It found that under a specific processing temperatures and with an accurate formulation, foam densities have been reduced up to 70% with respect to non-foamed polymer. |
