Presents a cogent argument for normative data in nursing, along with an exploration of issues involved in the research process of health responses in both expectant mothers and fathers. Issues relative to theoretical problems of measurement, interpretation and utilization of findings; Operationalization of symptomatology related to pregnancy in terms of the somatic, psychological/behavior and well being responses for expectant women and their male counterparts. |
