The article discusses the results of a web-based survey on the epidemiological, demographic, and clinical information on patients with ocular toxocariasis (OT). The survey include ophthalmologists from the American Uveitis Society (AUS), the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS). Three of the top five most commonly reported ophthalmologic signs are suggested of permanent eye injury. Twenty-five percent of OT patients underwent ophthalmologic procedures. |
