Abstrakt:	The article discusses the development of brandy production and the distillation of spirits in Australia. It states that brandy caught the attention of the masses in 1512 after a Dutch merchant attempted to concentrate wine through distillation and retain flavor and its alcohol content. It also mentions that cognac is the most well-known and loved of all brandies.
