Abstrakt:	The article discusses the study which describes family violence as a continuum of violence between elder family members. It details the description that exclusively points elder abuse to older family members who are victims of mistreatment. It emphasizes the importance of Adult Protective Services (APS) and the role of health care providers in the intervention and assistance during incidence of violence in the home. The author also recommends an in-depth evaluation of the APS across states to identify the best practices and national standards to the program.
