| Abstrakt: |
The article presents information on German procurement guidelines for heart beating donors. It is mentioned that for liver procurement, the surgeons should check for brain death, blood group and medical history of the donors and all abdominal and thoracic organs should be tested for pathologies. Also, for kidneys' procurement, transperitoneal method should be followed with median laparotomy. Information on the procedures for small intestine, multivisceral and heart procurement is presented. |
