| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case study which discusses the fraudulent practices of for-profit universities and colleges in the U.S. The investigation of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on 15 for-profit universities and colleges in six states from May 2010 to July 2010 reveals deceptive recruiting tactics, vague accreditation standards, low graduation and placement rates, and high loan default rates. The U.S. Department of Education suggests the punishment of for-profits schools. |
