| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the relation between Black secularism and Black Christian theology. It describes the criticisms of White, Western theology by African-American theologian James Cone, the demise of the Black church in the U.S. due to its embrace of secularist attitudes and epistemology, and the secularization of the Black church. Other subjects under discussion include the analysis of professor Eddie Glaude, the sociology of Black religion, and Black prophecy. |
