This article discusses the use of European Conceptual History as a method of research for historians in the study of law and legislation. It examines its use for the consideration of political concepts, including power, participation, representation, and legitimacy. The author analyzes the study of legal history in Germany and Italy, such as the creation of law over time by such actors as kings, legislators, and citizens. The legislation of law, especially during the 20th century, is also explored. |
