The article presents the author's comments on the article "Free clinics in the United States: a nationwide survey," by JS Darnell. The author commends Darnell for providing a detailed analysis of a major national survey of free clinics and their role as a component of the health care industry in U.S. He gives his reaction to the economic comparison made by Darnell on free clinic costs and community health centers (CHCs) which are funded by the federal government. |
