Amputation of Wing in Eurasian Eagle Owl (Bubo bubo)- A Case Report.

Abstrakt: The article presents a case study investigating the health condition of Eurasian eagle owl after the amputation of its right wing. The owl has suffered a heavy wound on its right wing after being attacked by crows. In addition, the injury became attractive to maggots which caused the decline of the bird's health. The owl was administered with hydrogen peroxide, chloroform, and Intamox for cleaning the wing and removing maggots. The surgical operation and the recovery of the bird is also cited.
